Brad Keselowski Out At RFK Racing in 2027

In arguably the biggest move so far of the 2026 edition of NASCAR's "Silly Season", Brad Keselowski and RFK Racing are parting ways at the conclusion of the 2026 season. In a release by the team, they state it was a mutual agreement and they will work with Brad about his ownership stake in the team as he explores his options to drive elsewhere in 2027. In a separate statement from Brad Keselowski, he mentions that he is not done driving, and he wants to continue to drive in 2027. It is also said that Brad does want to pursue an ownership opportunity at the next team he drives for.

Keselowski, 42, has been co-owner of the team since the end of 2021, and his name was added to the team name in 2022. In his five full-time seasons with the team, he has one win and made the postseason twice, as well as helping guide the team to seven wins since the start of the 2022 season.

The move to part ways with Keselowski comes as there was some internal disagreement about the future of the team, with some speculation that Brad may have wanted to make the switch to Dodge when they make the transition to the Cup Series. RFK Racing, however, has had ties with Ford since the beginning of the team way back in 1988.

"The Chase" is in full-swing, with RFK drivers Ryan Preece and Chris Buescher both in the title hunt. Brad was the only driver in the organization to miss the postseason, and his performance is at his second-lowest since joining the organization.

Now that we are in late September, there are not many available seats in the Cup Series. There is some speculation that Brad may take over the 10 seat at Kaulig, and guide the inevitable transition from Chevy to Dodge. An OEM transition is not new to Brad, as he was at Penske when they switched from Dodge to Ford, so he understands what it takes for a successful transition between manufacturers.

With the 2026 season coming to a close and the 2027 season barreling down on us, where do you think Brad ends up next year?
