San Diego Race Preview
In a historic first for NASCAR, all three National Series will be racing a street course on Naval Base Coronado in San Diego, in a joint effort between NASCAR and the U.S. Navy for the 250th anniversary of America and the Navy.
The 3.4 mile, 16-turn course circles the naval base, and it will feature many challenging corners and technical areas that many of these drivers are not accustomed to. There is a scenic view where the drivers will pass close to two aircraft carriers, and The CW will be broadcasting from the USS Carl Vinson.
The Truck Series will race in front of residents of the naval base only on Friday, June 19th at 7 pm ET, and it will be aired on FS1.
The O'Reilly Series will race on Saturday, June 20th at 5pm ET and will air on The CW.
The Cup Series race will start at 4 PM ET on Sunday, June 31st, and it will be the final race of the season on Amazon Prime.
Predictions:
Truck Series: Layne Riggs
O'Reilly Series: Jesse Love
Cup Series: Shane van Gisbergen
